Join Patricia Hunt Holmes as she discusses her novel, "Searching for Pilar," the story of a young wife and mother who is abducted in Mexico City and forced into sex slavery in Houston. Can she survive long enough for her brother to find her? This action-packed tale of the Bayou City breaks open the world of sex trafficking while exploring human nature, greed, family, love, faith and the law. Holmes spent 30 years as a public finance attorney, a career which influenced the writing of her novel. She also served as a university faculty member and board member for various social service organizations.
