Event Description:

As the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027, it is kicking off the milestone year with “Battle of the Decades,” a two-day, decade-themed membership campaign designed to grow the Chamber’s network and engage members in building its next century.

The campaign will take place October 21–22, 2026, during Texas Chamber of Commerce Week, a statewide celebration of the role chambers play in strengthening businesses and communities.
Battle of the Decades will bring together Chamber volunteers on teams representing different decades for a friendly competition to recruit new members and introduce more businesses to the relationships, resources and opportunities available through the Pasadena Chamber.

Founded in 1927, the Pasadena Chamber has grown and evolved alongside the community it serves. For nearly a century, generations of business leaders, volunteers and community partners have helped shape the organization and its work to connect leaders, advocate for business, develop leaders and strengthen the Pasadena community.

“For nearly 100 years, the strength of the Pasadena Chamber has come from the businesses and people who choose to be part of it,” said Cristina Womack, President/CEO of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. “Battle of the Decades is about building on that legacy by engaging our members, growing our network and creating new connections that will strengthen our business community for the next 100 years.”

The campaign reflects the Chamber’s strategic vision to be a leading catalyst for a thriving business community by connecting leaders, advocating for advancement, and serving and educating with purpose. Growing the Chamber’s membership strengthens that work and expands the network of businesses represented and served by the organization.

Battle of the Decades will serve as an early kickoff to the Chamber’s Centennial, with additional activities and celebrations planned throughout 2027 as the Pasadena Chamber commemorates its first 100 years and looks toward its next century of service.
